Lois Jean Bertram, 78, of Parkersburg, died Friday, Dec. 19, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 12, 1930, in Cedar Falls, daughter of Fred and Alice Sells Hugh. On Aug. 19, 1960, she married Carl Bertram at Little Brown Church, Nashua. He preceded her in death.

Survived by: a brother, Louie (Linda) Hugh of Ionia; and three sisters, Ida Folken of Parkersburg, Faye Bass of Homosassa, Fla., and Joanne Mayfield of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by: a brother, Donald Hugh; and three sisters, Julia Weers, Betty Ricther and Frances Haan.

Services: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Redman-Schwartz Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, New Hartford. Public visitation from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
