Gaffney, SC - - Sarah Dorothy Huffstetler Clary, 93, of 301 E. Robinson Street, formerly of 115 Beltline Road, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 14, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Lawrence Stanley Clary and daughter of the late Jacob Andrew and Mamie Moore Huffstetler. Mrs. Clary was a homemaker and a member of Crestview Baptist Church. Surviving is a daughter, Julia Petty of Gaffney; a brother, Johnny Huffstetler and wife, Eunice of Gaffney; a sister, Juanita Pettit and husband, Niles of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Cheryl Watkins of Gaffney, who was reared in the home, and a grandson, Richard Dade Petty of Gaffney; a sister-in-law, Louise Huffstetler of Gaffney. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence "Tiger" Huffstetler and Herman Huffstetler, two sisters, Lucille Moseley and Patsy Ruth Richardson and a grandson, Ricky Watkins, who was reared in the home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 17, 2011 in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Warren Fowler and Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. Entombment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
