She was born March 29, 1924 in St. Paul, Minnesota the daughter of Harold R. and Helen Juhla Sharp. On August 24, 1942 she married Harold J. Hufford in Quincy. He preceded her in death on August 7, 1999.
She was a graduate of Quincy High School. She then worked as a nurse's aide at Sunset Home for 17 years. Audrey was a member of Luther Memorial Church, V.F.W. Ladies' Auxiliary, and a life time member of the South Side Boat Club Ladies Aid.
Survivors include two sons: Ron Hufford and his wife, Shelly, of Lufkin, TX; and Greg Hufford and his special friend, Ginny Brown, of Quincy; grandchildren: Ryan Hufford of Lufkin, TX; Rachelle Hufford of Lufkin, TX; Craig Hufford of Quincy; Kristi Hufford of Quincy; Blake Houston of Quincy and Dan Dixson of San Diego, CA. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Virginia Mast.
Services will be Friday, October 13, 2006, at 11 a.m. in Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with the Rev. George Tomko officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, October 12 from 4-7 p.m. at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home. Burial will be in Quincy Memorial Park.
