Daughter of William Henry and Minnie Huffines. She was a lifetime resident of Jackson County and worked many years in the kitchen at Kelly's Restaurant in Newport. She was a member of Newport Assembly of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Tidwell; two daughters, Margaret Bice and Maxine Tidwell; two sons, Bobby and Carl Tidwell; two sisters, Opal Howard and Lucille Brannon; and two brothers, Roy and Virgil Huffines.
She is survived by five daughters, Connie Bolden of Fisher, Bonnie Brown of Bradford, Vickie Miles of Hot Springs, Lagina Gore of Louisiana and Dorthy Epperson of Newport; four sons, Roy Lee and Arthur Tidwell of Newport, Eugene Tidwell of Tuckerman and Danny Tidwell of Kensett; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
