Jean was retired as the director for the Greene County Department of Human Services office and was a lifetime member of the Ladies Variety Club. She was also very actively involved with the Greene County Jr. Miss Program. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Leakesville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, A.J. and Dot Huff and her brother Jackson Huff.
She is survived by her loving husband, Henry L. Henington; children, Mark (Chere) Brown of Leakesville, Andrew Brown of Orange Beach, AL, Amy B. (Matt) West of Atlanta, GA, Justin (Jennifer) Henington of Leakesville, David (Chris) Henington of Little Elm, TX, and Kevin Henington of Hattiesburg; her brother, David (Nina) Huff of Leakesville, and sister-in-law, Rosa Huff of Baton Rouge, LA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Henington will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Leakesville.
