Leonard Donald Huff, age 96; of Lake Wales, FL, formerly of Michigan; departed this life on December 21, 2015.
Leonard D. Huff was born April 12, 1919 in Marion, Michigan to Roy Huff and Kittie Huff. He graduated from Oxford High School.
Leonard married Ethel Mae October 1st, 1940. They raised 5 children and opened their home and hearts to many foster children. They were members of the Clawson Free Methodist Church. Ethel passed away May 30th 1981, they were married 40 years.
In 1982, Leonard retired from Sears Roebuck Repair Services in Warren MI after 41 years of service.
On October 9, 1982 he married Vivian Lucille Norris; they moved to Lake Wales Florida and were members of the Lake Wales Alliance Church.
Vivian passed away January 2, 2012 they were married 29 years.
Leonard was preceded in death by his son Donald Huff, son- in-law Ron and stepson Jerry. He was survived by daughters Darlene and Diana (Eddie), sons Kenneth (Bonnie) and Lance (Martha) of Michigan; Stepchildren Jeff (Diane) and Georgene (Hal) of Michigan; John (Delcie) and Patricia of Florida. Leonard was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren and extended family and friends.
Leonard enjoyed traveling and visited many people. His love for gardening and pickling will always be in our hearts. He could tell stories of things that happened yesterday or 75 years ago. His faith in God /his son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit were always foremost in his life.
