FUNERAL OF VICTIMS
OF MONDAY TRAGEDY

The funerals of Evangeline Garza and Alberto Garza, the victims of Monday's dual tragedy, were held yesterday afternoon, both being attended by large number of friends.

The funeral of Mrs. Garza was conducted according to the rights of the Catholic Church, while that of her husband was conducted according to the ritual of the American Legion, of which he was a member.

More than thirty former servicemen attended the funeral of their dead comrade in arms, most of them being overseas men. The services were conducted by Chaplain Flowers of the Volunteers of America, himself a former servicemen.

The Funerals were held at different hours, both bodies being laid to rest in the City Cemetery.

(Evangelina was shot to death by her husband on Monday.)
