Albert was born July 20, 1952 in Guysville, Ohio, the son of Clovis and Goldie (Lehoe) Hudnell. He had worked as a mechanic and truck driver for Turf Services. Albert was a member of the N.R.A. and served his country in the U.S. Army from 1972-77. He enjoyed any kind of racing. Jake Durbin and Matthew Meinecke were sponsored by Albert. He liked working on cars with his sons and being outdoors hunting and fishing.
Albert is survived by his wife Gayla of Dallas Center; daughters Christina Mangin, Regina and Letisha Hudnell all of Amhearst, Ohio; sons Andrew (Julie) Hudnell of Perry; Jonathon, Trey and Micah Hudnell all at home and Shawn Hudnell of Ft. Albert S. Hudnell, 55, of Dallas Center died March 6, 2008, at his home.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 11, at the Dunkard Brethren Church in Dallas Center. Burial was at McDonald-Chase Cemetery, Douglas Township, Madison County. Contributions in Albert's name may be directed to Hospice of Central Iowa.
