SILVER POINT -- Funeral services for Barbara Ann Huddleston Herren, 73, of Silver Point, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, in the Baxter chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 5-8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Herren died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, in NHC of Cookeville.
She was born Sept. 9, 1937, in Moulton, Ala., to the late Harvey Harwood and Beulah Mai Bates Huddleston.
Mrs. Herren was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She worked as a special order cutter at Wilson Sporting Goods for 17 years.
Her family includes her husband of 55 years, Oval Herren of Silver Point (married Aug. 27, 1955, in Sparta); a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Perry Thomas of Baxter; a son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Jill Herren of Cookeville; two grandchildren, Kevin Thomas and Jared Herren; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Faye Huddleston of Lancaster; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Junan McCune of Buffalo Valley and Ruth and John Bunn of Lake City, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Glen Herren, Kevin Thomas, James Jones, Jimmy Jones, David White and Jon Morris.
Bro. Herbert Leftwhich will officiate the services.
