Charles G. Tusing, pastor, in charge. Interment followed in Oakwood cemetery. Mrs. Dix died at the Pulaski hospital Monday afternoon of injuries received in an automobile accident near Radford last Friday night. Born in Wythe County on April 26, 1878, the daughter of the late James Floyd and Elizabeth Snavely Huddle. She married John Stuart Dix on January 11, 1900, and resided at Crockett, Va., until 1924 when the family moved to Pulaski. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J.P. Miller and Mrs. Helen Stroud, of Pulaski, and Mrs. Herman E. Kirchner, of Bluefield, W.Va.; a sister, Miss Myrtle Huddle, of Crockett, and two grandchildren, Patsy and James Miller, of Pulaski. Mrs. Dix was a life-long and devoted member of the Lutheran church, serving on the official board of Woman's Memorial here, teaching, in the Sunday School and taking a prominent part in missionary and other organizations. Members of the Woman's auxiliary served as flower bearers.
