CSA VETERAN-Nathan Andrew Hubbard Bullard came to Texas in 1851, after the death of his father, Nathan, in
Henderson County, Tenn. His widowed mother, Susan (Chamness) came to Texas with her children
with an older married daughter, Elizabeth Jane and son-in-law Brooks W. Richardson.
During the Civil War, he and his brother Wiley McCallister, served in the Confederate Army,
at Tyler, Texas and with duty at Camp Ford.
Nathan married first, Nancy Ann Catherine Hogan, daughter of Robert R. Hogan and
Susanah Denton Hogan, 28 Jul 1870 in Hunt County. They had the following children;

Nancy died 28 Sep.1888 in Lone Oak, Hunt, Texas.
Nathan married second, Rebecca Ann Bailey George, 9 December 1888.
He and Rebecca had an additional seven children. They were in order;

Reuben Isaac, 1903
In all, Nathan had 17 children to leave decendants throughout East Texas.
