Edward Julius Hoyer Sr., 69, died in his home, 432 Dwyer Avenue, Wednesday. A railroad clerk for the Southern Pacific Lines for many years, he retired last week. He had lived in San Antonio all his life. Hoyer was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Clerks.
Funeral services will be held Friday with services in San Fernando Cathedral, Rev. Diaz officiating.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Lucie Hoyer; three sons, Fridolin A. Hoyer, Kansas City, Mo.; Edward J Hoyer, Jr., San Antonio, and Paul C Hoyer, San Antonio; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild, also sisters, Miss Julia Hoyer and Mrs. Amelia Villareal, and a daughter, Mrs. A. M. McNally, all of San Antonio.
