Kitty A. Duganne, 84, of Homewood at Martinsburg, formerly of Outlook Pointe and Catfish Road, Duncansville,died at Homewood.

She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Norman E. and Winafred A. (Biss) Hower. She married Allen W."Pete" Duganne June 25,1940, in Altoona. He preceded her in
death Jan. 20,1998.

Kitty graduated from Altoona High School in 1938. She retired in 1992 as owner of Greendown Acres Mobile Home Park. She was a member of the Eastern Star Altoona Chapter 290, First United Methodist Church, Altoona, then Hollidaysburg, and was in the sewing circle at Newry Lutheran.

Kitty enjoyed applique quilting, bird watching, sketching, activities at Outlook Pointe and Homewood, visiting and feeding biscuits to her special canine friend, "Luke."

She is survived by two daughters: Susan K. and husband,
Timothy R. Dangel, of Annapolis, Md., Jill E. Bulman and partner, Deane A. Whittaker, of Catfish; a sister, Patricia Shirdon of Duncansville; two grandchildren:
Joshua T. Bulman and wife, Amy, and Andrew R.W.N. Dangel and wife, Jennifer Kate; one niece, Martha Ann Duganne; and three nephews: David Duganne and John and Michael Mitchell.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public
viewing. A graveside committal service will be held at
noon Tuesday, Aug. 9,2005, at Carson Valley Cemetery,
Duncansville. Friends will be received from 1 p.m. to the 2 p.m. service at the Homewood Chapel, officiated by Chaplain Jerry McCuller.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American
Rescue Workers and/or a charity for children of your
choice.

Arrangements are by Liebegott-Brown Funeral Home Inc., Duncansville.
