Mrs. Elizabeth DeHaven died at her residence near Stoughton's corners, of a complication of diseases, last Monday morning, at the age of 72 years and 9 months and is to be buried in Hartford cemetery today. She was born in Pennsylvania, but has been a resident of this county for many years. Her husband has been dead for several years and she has made her home with her grandson, Frank DeHaven.
Elizabeth DeHaven was born in Dauphine county, Pennsylvania, May 21, 1829, and fell asleep in Jesus Feb. 24, 1902 aged 72 years, nine months and three days. She was the widow of Ezra DeHaven who departed this life Jan. 8, 1890. She was the mother of nine children, seven of whom are left to mourn her loss.
The funeral was conducted Wednesday, Feb. 26th.
