ELIZABETH B. KENNEY

Greene-- Mrs. Elizabeth Bubier Kenney, 73, died this morning at Leagholm Nursing Home, Auburn.

Born in Greene, Jan. 22, 1880, she was the daughter of Francis and Eleanor Pettengill Howe, and lived the greater part of her life in Greene, where she did domestic nursing for many years in and around this town. She was the widow of John Kenney, whom she married after the death of her first husband, Mellen Bubier.

She is survived by two sons; Wesley and Chester, both of Greene; five daughters, Mrs. Viola Nickerson and Mrs. Elsie Jordan, both of Turner, Mrs. Thelma McCurdy of Portland, Mrs. Evelyn Rose of Auburn, and Mrs. Hazel Howe of Greene; two sisters, Mrs. Leonora Addition of Leeds and Mrs. Eva Pratt of Auburn. Also surviving is a brother, Ralph Howe of Greene, and 36 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.


DIED

In Auburn March 18,1953, Mrs. Elizabeth Bubier Kenney, age 73. Funeral services will be held Saturday 2 pm from the Baptist Church in Greene. Interment Valley Cemtery, Greene. Visiting hours at Bragdon and Flanders Funeral Home in Monmouth, Thursday and Friday evenings 7 pm to 9 pm.
