HOOSICK, N.Y. - The funeral of Edwin S. Howard, 61, former resident of North Bennington, Vt. and a 25 year member of Tucker Lodge, F&AM here, will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at the Leo J. Mahar Funeral Home, Hoosick Falls. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening. Burial will be in Center Shaftsbury cemetery.
Mr. Howard, a retired steel plater and construction worker, died Saturday at his home after a long illness. He was born in South Shaftsbury, Vt. May 10, 1900, son of Roland and Nancy (Atterbury) Howard. He attended schools in North Bennington and most of his employment was there.
Survivors include his wife, Lucina; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Brenenstuhl and Miss Shirley Howard all of Hoosick Falls; two sons, George Howard of Russell, Mass., and Royal Howard of Hoosick Falls; one brother, Roland Howard of Schaghticoke; seven grandchildren, and a niece.
