Phyllis H. Burns , 67, of Washington, died at 7:48 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2002, in Washington Hospital.
She was born March 20, 1935, in Washington, a daughter of Charles O. and Pearl White Houston.
Mrs. Burns was a 1953 graduate of Trinity High School and a homemaker.
She was a member of Laboratory Presbyterian Church, where she served as secretary for several years.
Mrs. Burns enjoyed the Pittsburgh Steelers, her grandchildren, reading and flowers.
She was a member of the Arms Club.
On July 2, 1957, she married Robert L. Burns , who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Robert C., Loland L. and Stephen A. Burns , all of Washington; a daughter, Nanciann Eneix of Washington; three brothers, Charles O. Houston Jr. of Landenburg and Richard and Donald Houston, both of Washington; a sister, Barbara Murray of Freemont, Calif.; four grandchildren, Nicole, Robert R., Abby and Emily Burns ; two stepgrandchildren, Loren and Jason Eneix; and several nieces and nephews.
