Gerald (Jerry) Lee Houskeeper, 59, passed away suddenly April 4, 1995.

He was born August 21, 1935 in Fairview, Utah, a son of Arvilla Shepherd and Max L. Houskeeper. He married Dora Ann Gardner August 21, 1959 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Always a great source of strength to his family and all who associated with him. He was an active member of the LDS Church, a member of the Butler 11th Ward holding the office of High Priest. A graduate of both South High School and the Stevens-Henager College of Business. Served his country with pride in the military. Employed by Zions Bank for 36 years, currently as vice president and the head of Corporate Trust Department.

Survived by his wife, Ann; a son, Rodney Lee Houskeeper, Kearns; a daughter, Mrs. Daniel (TeriAnn) Vest, West Jordan; and a son, Chad Ryan Houskeeper (wife, Melissa) of Salt Lake; three grandchildren: Sarah, David and Allison; brother, Ronald L. Houskeeper and sister, Norma O'Very.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 8th, at 1 p.m., at the Butler 11th Ward, 1845 East 7200 South. Friends may call at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State St. from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy.
