GOWANDA - Edith M. Brown, 74, of Fredonia, formerly of Gowanda, passed away Wednesday (Dec. 22, 2010) at her home.
She was born Oct. 20, 1936 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Russell) Housel.
Mrs. Brown was married to Jerome D. Brown, who predeceased her on Jan. 6, 2000.
She is survived by three daughters: Kathleen (Hendrick) Williams of Dunkirk; Jacqueline Britt of Holiday, Fla; and Rebecca Brown of Fredonia; and four grandchildren: Jason, Tommy, Stacey and Trent. Also surviving are a brother, Richard Housel of Lakewood, Colo.; a sister, Ruth Howard of Hickory, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, William Housel.
