this stone clearly says Orvil...House on the first line, born, died on following lines with numbers and further inscription not visible from the photo. Esther Shaffer House clearly states that she has had 9 children and 8 are living in 1900. A second child on this stone would make 10 children 2 deceased- not as she reports. Another researcher attributes a second child on this stone to Jeremiah House and Nancy Cobb House. Nancy clearly states in 1900 that she has borne 9 children are 5 are living, the deceased children being: Leonard 1890, Genevieve 1856, Jeremiah Jerry Lafayette 1883, and Rachel Janet Nettie 1877. I believe it is an error to attribute a second child to this stone unless it is a grandchild of Abraham and Esther. The child should not be attributed to Jeremiah Isaac House and Nancy Cobb House.
