Dr. Owen Edward Houghton, dentist and former Alderman from the Twentieth ward, Brooklyn, died Wednesday In his home, 26 South Oxford street. He was born in St. Lawrence county sixty nine years ago. He was graduated from the New York College of Dentistry In 1871. and for forty years hits practiced at the South Oxford street address.
Dr. Houghton was twice president of the Brooklyn section of the New York
Dental Association. He was a member of the Elks. Lincoln Club, Brooklyn
Dental Society and the Royal Arcanum.
He leaves two daughters and a son. Lieut. Owen E. Houghton of the Fifty
fourth United States Coast Artillery.
