Miss Houck was born December 8, 1968 in Jefferson, NC to Dean McKinley and Margaret Stevens Houck.
Miss Houck was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Michael Dean Houck and sister, Linda Joyce Houck.
Beth was a member of Bald Mountain Baptist Church. She worked as front end manager for Ingles Supermarket in West Jefferson.
She loved sports and being around people. She never complained during her illness. She loved spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Lawrence Goodman.
Burial will follow in Bald Mountain Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Badger Funeral Home.
Miss Houck is survived by: one brother, Steve Houck and wife Betty of West Jefferson, also surviving are 4 nephews, several great nieces and nephews and cousins.
