Graveside rites for Mrs. Adella A. HOSTETTER, 84, Sturgis, Mich., who died at Sturgis Memorial hospital Tuesday at 11 a.m., will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Rochester I.O.O.F. cemetery. The Rev. Graham B. MARSH will officiate.
She had attended Rochester college school of music in 1900 and taught music privately in this community for several years while residing here. She was the former Mrs. James M. GIBBONS.
The daughter of Joseph and Lorinda (HALL) HORNER, she was born at Brighton, Ind., March 25, 1882. She was first married to James M. GIBBONS at Brighton in 1907. He died in 1919. She was a member of the Sturgis Methodist church in the Michigan community where she had lived about 25 years.
Survivors are a son, James GIBBONS, Milwaukee, Wis.; a daughter, Mrs. Samuel (Margaret) WINFREE, Phoenix, Ariz., and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Fogelsong funeral home at Sturgis, Mich., with the Rev. Charles HAHN officiating.
