Mrs. Willie Evelyn Mundy Hosch, of the Life Care Center in Ducktown, TN, formally of Buford, GA, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010. Born in Buford, GA, she was the daughter of the late William Anderson and Josie Deila Magness Mundy. Mrs. Hosch grew up in Buford with her parents growing cotton and sugar cane. She graduated from Sugar Hill High School in 1944 completing eleven years and went to work at Cadillac in Detroit, MI during World War II. Mrs. Hosch was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Hosch. They were married on June 29, 1946. They lived in Buford for the majority of their marriage. She was saved at Sugar Hill First Baptist Church, was a Children's Sunday School teacher and a member of West Buford Baptist Church. Mrs. Hosch loved reaching out to the community with her delicious meals including her cakes. Also in her earlier years she would take elderly ladies to town to get groceries or would go by and get their list and buy their groceries for them. Mrs. Hosch was preceded in death by brothers, Olen Watson, Ebb (R.E.) and Jess Mundy; sisters, Birthel Spradlin, Lula Mae Ridgeway, Christine Sells, Lorine Roebuck and Audrey Dalton. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Joe Adams of Lilburn, GA and Blue Ridge, GA and Priscilla and Dr. Tom Jordan of Epworth, GA; granddaughter, Melanie Cooper of Lawrenceville, GA; granddaughter and husband Christa Jordan Webb and Jason Webb of Blue Ridge, GA; grandson, Jonathan Jordan of Epworth, GA; four great grandchildren, Marc Cooper of Lawrenceville, GA, Barrett Webb of Blue Ridge, GA, Evie Webb of Blue Ridge, GA and Lyla Webb of Blue Ridge, GA; and sisters-in-law, Christine Browning Mundy of Cumming, GA, Montine Hosch Samples of Alpharetta, GA, Evelyn Hosch of Temple, GA; several nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive.
