Mrs. Burmaster, 81, of Caledonia, died Friday (March 16, 2007) at Caledonia Care and Rehab Center.
Delores Hosch was born Aug. 2, 1925, in La Crosse, Wis. On May 9, 1946, she married Henry L. "Hank" Becker; he preceded her in death in April 1958. On Jan. 31, 1959, she married Myron G. Burmaster. They operated restaurants and taverns, including Myron and Delores', The Coffee House and The Office. She liked cooking, baking and traveling, and took the family on trips to many states. She also enjoyed playing cards, bingo and the slot machines.
Survivors include her husband; six children, Henry "Stumpy" (Jackie) Becker of Rushford, Bonnie (Mark) Goetzinger and Dorothy (Gary) Schutz, both of Caledonia, Mary (Linus) Hammell of Chatfield, Mark (Cari) Burmaster of Onalaska, Wis., and Donna (Todd) Boutelle of Black Earth, Wis.; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Robert (Irene) Hosch and Clayton (Janene) Hosch, both of Caledonia, and Darrel (Carol) Hosch of La Crescent.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Holy Family Hall, behind St. Mary's Church, where a prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue an hour before the service Monday at the church.
Memorials are preferred to St. Mary's Parish, the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society.
