Hebron—Mary Jane Horsey Brown departed this life peacefully at her home in Hebron on Wednesday, September 12, 2012.
She was the daughter of the late William S. and Eunice Ford Horsey and the granddaughter of the late Brooks R. and Addie Winder Ford.
She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Hebron, where she served as past president of the usher board and past president of the United Methodist Women.
She leaves to mourn, three children: Perry A. Brown of Church Hill, MD, Karen Brown and Lynn Brown of Salisbury; one brother, William A. Horsey (Hazel) of Hebron; Peggy A. Layton of Chester, PA and Mable L. Gaines of Delmar, DE; three grandchildren: three great-grandchildren, several nieces nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be held Monday, September 17, 2012 at 12 PM at St. Luke U.M. Church on Levin Dashiell Road in Hebron with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron.
