Catherine H. Bott, 84, of Nuremberg, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Weston, January 16, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Pollack) Hornick and spent the past 65 years in Nuremberg after moving from Weston.

She was the co-owner of the former Bott's Market, Nuremberg. She was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church, Weston, and the Twin County Lionettes. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, playing cards, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband Henry J. Bott, who passed away June 5, 1999; a grandson David Bott, Jr., 1980; a sister Camillus Sandutch, and brothers Francis and Vincent Hornick.

Surviving are two sons Michael and his wife Diann; and David and his wife Julee, all of Nuremberg; five grandchildren, Valerie Hollis and her husband Jason; Dina Brutosky and her husband Jeff; Ryan Bott and his wife Grace; Meghan Bott; and Shayna Beam; eight great-grandchildren, Dove, Morgan, Gwen, and Quade Hollis; Shyann and Gavin Brutosky; Mason Bott; and Tristan Beam; four sisters Gloria Everett, Colorado; Lucy Popiak, Allentown; Roseann Hornick, New Jersey; and Marlene Wesner, McAdoo; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 11 am with a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart RC Church, Weston. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The family will received friends at the church, Saturday morning from 9 am until the time of the Mass.
