HOFFMAN – Louise A., 91, Geistown, died Aug. 23, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 8, 1922, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Disch) Hornick. Preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Hoffman; sister, Elizabeth Hornick; and brother, Robert Hornick. Survived by children, Pauline Hoffman; Dolores Skelly, and husband, Dan; Gregory Hoffman; and Philip Hoffman, all of Geistown; granddaughter, Cynthia Skelly, Palatka, Fla.; sister, Mary Frances Stevons, Johnstown; and brother, Ronald Hornick, Geistown. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. She had formerly worked for the Johnstown Housing Authority. Friends received from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, the Rev. David S. Peles, celebrant. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Benedict Catholic Church.
