Norma was born in Lafayette, Indiana, on March 7, 1968. She was the daughter of the Clara Lucille (Strater) Horath of Attica and the late Charles A. Horath. Norma was the youngest of twelve children and was raised in Tab. She graduated from Benton Central High School.
Norma was a very active member of the Covington Assembly of God Church. She was not shy about sharing her faith with friends and strangers. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves behind a daughter, Kayla (John) Hileman, West Lafayette; two grandchildren, Ethan Easter and Carson Lowery, both of West Lafayette; two brothers, Bud Horath, Williamsport and Fred Horath, Attica; eight sisters, Joyce Compton, Patricia Ricketts, Janet Richter, all of Danville, IL; Evelyn Black, Rossville, IL; Linda Searcy, Attica; Cathy (Jamie) Bogdas, Sarasota, FL; Sharon (Jack) Taylor, Lafayette and Marilyn (Moe) Moore, Williamsport; several nieces and nephews.
She chose to be cremated.
