Dorothy Helen (Horan) Blasche, 89, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013. The funeral service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, at OakCrest Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, at OakCrest Funeral Home, Waco.
Dorothy was born in Kansas City, Kansas. She taught math at Richfield High School in the Waco Independent School District for 25 years. Dorothy thoroughly enjoyed gardening, photography, and being with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Thomas "Tom" L. Blasche; daughter, Katherine Blasche; sons, John Blasche and wife, Ann, Bob Blasche and wife, Kay, David Blasche and wife, Jill, Paul Blasche and wife, Nancy, and Don Blasche and wife, Carol; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
