Mrs. Bertha E. Borgstrom, age 74, of R.R. No.2. Maple Lake died Wednesday, July 12 at St.Mary's Hospital, Winsted.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 15th at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Middleville with Rev. Allen Mack officiating. Burial followed at Lakeview Cemetery, Buffalo. Friends attended a prayer service at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Dingmann Funeral Home.

She is survived by: Husband Elmer; three children; Chester of Anaheim, Mrs. Don (Marion) Kloss of Maple Lake and Mrs. Henry (Hazel) Wessling of Maple Lake, five brothers and sisters: Ernest Hoppe of Annandale, Albert Hoppe of Crystal Bay, Mrs. Edna Albee of Long Lake, Mrs. Milton(Gertrude) Thurber of Howard Lake, and Mrs. Ted (Hilda) Kowalke of Montrose; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Reinhold.

She was born July 29, 1903 at Waverly to the late Hermon and Theresa Hoppe.

She was a homemaker, member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, and has lived near Rassat for the past 53 years.

Pallbearers were: Tom Demarais, Dave, Doug, and Jim Kloss, Jack Wessling and Paul Hoppe.

She married Elmer Borgstrom on October 29, 1925 at Howard Lake.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all our relatives, friends and neighbors for the flowers, memorials, and food brought to the home after the death of our beloved wife and mother, Bertha Borgstrom.

A thank you to Rev.Mack for this comforting words and prayers, to the Ladies that served the lunch and the Dingmann Funeral Home for their fine services.
