Anna V. Bond, 90 of Luray, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 1989, at 10:45 p.m. at Keokuk Area Hospital, Keokuk, Iowa.
The daughter of Charles and Sarah Lee Poe Hopp she was born in Clark County, Missouri on October 4, 1898.
She was married to John Bond.
She is survived by one son, Norman Bond of Knoxville, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Maxine Hutson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Creva Hawkins, one granddaughter, one brother and two sisters.
She was retired from Sheller-Globe in Keokuk, Iowa.
Funeral services were Tuesday, August 1, 1989 at 1:30 p.m. at the Shaffer and Sons Memorial Chapel, Kahoka, Missouri, with Rev. Mark Lowman officiating and burial in the Combs Cemetery, Luray, Missouri. Alice Heinze served as organist for the service and Dennis Shaffer was the soloist.
Pallbearers were Lester Hopp, Bob Hopp, Vernon Hopp, Gary Hopp, Eldon Hopp, and Leroy Frazier.
Honorary pallbearers were Pat Kirchner and Matt Hutson.
Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
