The Buchanan Book (1911) and her CA death index listing only list her mother by her maiden name Musselwhite, with no given name provided. When she was 15, her father married second Emma Chuchu Brickwood on 22 Mar 1875 in Honolulu, HI. Her father died on 28 Jan 1902 in Honolulu, but his obit only lists his burial in Pearl City, without naming the cemetery. The 1900 Honolulu census listed her as having five children, with three still living, the latter being John and Mary Etta Sullivan from her first marriage and Irene G Hope from her second. Mary Etta later married Frank A Bechert.
On 12 Feb 1913 in Hawaii, Amy's daugther Mary Etta Sullivan (20 Dec 1894 HI - 22 Oct 1986 Santa Cruz Co., CA) married Frank A Bechert (abt 1887 Ger - 6 Mar 1947 HI), son of Franz C Bechert and Albertina Trabondt.
Amy was a great granddaughter of James Buchanan and
Elizabeth Clarke.
