LANDEN J. HOOVER
Landen J. Hoover, of Loyalton, died on Monday afternoon, at the age of 49 years.
Mr. Hoover was a son of the late Edmund and Lily (Wetzel) Hoover. He was a native of Lykens Township and had been a resident of Loyalton 41 years. He was a member of Hoffman's United 'Church of Christ (Reformed), Ly kens Township.
Survivors are his wife, the former Miss Faye Hoffman of Gratz; two daughters, Mrs. Harry Dietrich and Mrs. Myles Kahler. both of Loyalton; two sons, Bruce Hoover, Loyalton and Lou G. Hoover, at home; and three grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, Rev. Wellington Hoover of Hamilton, Pa., retired minister of the Reformed Church; and Elwood Hoover, Loyalton; and five sisters, Mrs. John Harris, Lykens R.D.; Mrs. Harvey Crabb, Harrisburg; Mrs. Charles Dockey, Millersburg; Mrs. Lottie Hoover, New Cumberland, and Mrs. Catherine Spotts of Allentown.
Services will be held from the Hoover Funeral Home, Berrysburg, at 2 :00 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. E. R. Marks, pastor of the Lykens Valley United Church of Christ Charge will officiate, and interment will be in the Hoffman's Church Cemetery.
