The Frederick Post, February 8, 1943: MRS. MARGARET E. JENKINS
Mrs. Margaret E. Jenkins, daughter of the late David and Rosanna Crawmer Hooper, died Friday night at 10:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Trite, Tanney road, near Westminster, after an illness of two weeks, aged 87 years . She was twice married. Her first husband, Alex Fritz, died 32 years ago and her second husband, Wesley Jenkins, died two years ago. She is survived by the following children: Jacob Lee Fritz, Baltimore; Grover Fritz, New Windsor; Mrs. Trite; Mrs. William Lambert, New Windsor; Mrs. Grace Scott, Mrs. Raymond Babylon, Mrs. Preston Dell, Mrs. Mary Gilbert, Harry Fritz, all of Baltimore; Mrs. George Black, Westminster. One sister, Mrs. Catherine Baldwin, Baltimore, and one brother, Jefferson Hooper, of Franklinville, Carroll County, also survive. She was a member of the Church of God, Westminster.
Funeral today at the New Windsor funeral home of D. D. Hartzler and Sons at 10:30 a.m., Elder Daniel Englar officiating. Interment in Greenwood cemetery, New Windsor.
