Mrs. Iris H. Bond died Friday, October 14, 1977, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Denham Springs. She was 85, a resident of Denham Springs.
Body at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, for viewing. Religious services at Hebron Baptist Church, Denham Springs, conducted by Dr. Joel Lucas. Burial in the church cemetery.
Survived by four daughters, Mrs. Elaine Felder and Mrs. Hilma Goff, both of Denham Springs, and Mrs. Lelia Chaney and Mrs. Elise Goree, both of Baton Rouge; one son, Murray Bond, Denham Springs; five sisters, Mrs. Addie Vincent, Mrs. Georgie Henderson, Mrs. Mamie May and Mrs. Elva Watts, all of Denham Springs, and Mrs. Gladys Forbes, Baton Rouge; three brothers, Jessie Hood, Clyde Hood and Elmo Hood, all of Denham Springs; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
