Mrs Viola Blanche Golden, 47, who resided at the corner of West Main Street and Marcy Avenue, Riverhead, died at the Eastern Long Island Hospital on Tuesday March 25. She had been in failing health for sometime and was removed to the hospital on Monday.
Mrs Golden was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Daniel Homan of Roanoke, Riverhead, and had been a respected resident of this section all her life.
Surviving are her husband, John Golden; a daughter Mrs Philip Palmieri of Newark, NJ; two sons, Donald and James R Golden of Riverhead, and a sister, Mrs Florence Orth, also of Riverhead.
Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon, March 27, at 2 o'clock at Reginald H Tuthill's Funeral Home, with the Rev James Fraser, pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Riverhead cemetery.
