Mrs. Sarah Mae Harper Holton, 71, of Moultrie, died Friday, June 14, 2013, at Agape Health & Rehab of Moultrie.

Funeral services held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 22, at Greater Newton Grove Cathedral, where Ambassador C.L. Ponder III will officiate. Burial followed in the St. James Pallbearers Cemetery No. II. with the repast to be concluded at the George Walker Fellowship Hall at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

She was born on Dec. 29, 1941, in Colquitt County, to Willie Mae Solomon Harper and the late Levi Harper. She was employed with Sun State Sewing Factory for several years and Rest-Awhile Nursing Home as a certified nursing assistant for several years. She was a member of Greater Newton Grove Cathedral, where she was a member of the Senior Choir. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and spending precious moments with her family, her family remembered of her.

She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Craig L. Harper; and one daughter, Missy Ann Holton.

Final arrangements have been entrusted to Luke Strong And Son Mortuary, Ltd.
