He recorded himelf as medium height and build, blue eyes, and dark brown hair. He also registerd for WWI draft and at that time he lived on West Main Street, Middletown, Frederick, Maryland. He listed his wife, Mrs. Orpah K Holter, Middletown,Maryland. He was his own employer, a barber, on West Main Street, Middletown, Frederick, Maryland. At that time he recorded himself as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 170 pounds, grey eyes, bald, and ruddy complexion. He listed two molds on the left side of his face near ear. The card was signed on April 25, 1942.
