Edith May Brooks, age 89, of Russell Springs, died Monday, September 12, 1994, at the Russell County Hospital. She was born January 1, 1905. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Brooks.
She is survived by one sister, Minnie Butler of Russell Springs; a step-daughter, Margie Sizemore of Indianapolis, Ind. Four step-grandchildren also survive. Other survivors include a host of nieces and nephews in Russell County.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 14, 1994, at 1 p.m. at the Rippetoe Funeral Home with Rev. Carroll Egnew officiating. Pallbearers were Cecil Jackson, Frank Reeder, Tommy Cherry, Fritz Kauzman, Lonnie White, and Ashley White. Interment was in the Jamestown Cemetery.
