She was born on March 16, 1929 in Chestnut Grove, Md. and was the daughter of the late Earl Franklin and Esther Elizabeth (Jamison) Holmes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Edgar Durbin Sr., in 1992.
Mrs. Durbin had been a lifetime member of Hagerstown Bible Church where she served in many capacities over the years.
She had been a member of the Dixon Troxell American Legion Auxilliary Unit 211, Funkstown.
She was the owner of Durbin Auto Service.
Mrs. Durbin is survived by her loving family; two sons, Willard Edgar Durbin, Jr.. living at home, and Wayne F. Durbin and his wife Shirley of Maugansville; two daughters, Belinda Durbin Willard of Hagerstown, and Christina E. Bless and her husband, Carl, of Cochranville, Pa.; five grandchildren, Kevin Bless, Keith Bless, Jeremy McCrea, Jennifer Sebastian and Jami Shaffer; and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave., in Hagerstown, beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, Pastor Dale Carver will officiate. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
