Ida Lee Mullinax Holman, 91, long-time resident of Columbia, died Tuesday (Oct. 2, 2007) at Maury Regional Hospital.
She was born in Pickens County, Ga., the daughter of the late Henry Burton Mullinax and Pearl McWhorter Mullinax.
She was married April 9, 1939 to Burke Edmund Holman, Jr., who preceded her in death July 17, 1984.
Mrs. Holman was a charter member of West End Baptist Church and was active as a volunteer with Maury Regional Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughter, Jane Holman Smith of Brentwood; a brother, Glenn Mullinax of Albertville, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Estel Dodd, Thelma Hall and Irene Scott; a brother, Billie Mullinax; and son-in-law, Carl Smith.
