Mrs. Denette Holloway Claytor, age 83, a resident of 210 Grapevine Dr., Roxboro, died peacefully in her home Sunday morning December 8, 2013. She was a native of Person County and a member of Lawson Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by one brother, Franklin D. Holloway (Frances) of Roxboro; one nephew, Ryan D. Holloway of Roxboro and a number of great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in Lawson Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Langston D. Logan, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

The body will lie in state in the church one hour prior to the service.

At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of Franklin D. and Frances Holloway at 570 Semora Rd., Roxboro, NC 27573.
