Jesse “J.D.” Holloway, age 56, of Flora, Illinois, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, Illinois.

J.D. was born in Flora on February 25, 1959 to E.A. “Red” and Madonna (Jones) Holloway. He married Teresa Norris on May 17, 2000. J.D. had previously worked in oil fields and enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and being with family.

He is survived by his mother: Madonna Holloway of Flora; daughter: Brandi Holloway of Flora; two brothers: Jim (Brandy) Holloway of Greensboro, NC and Joe (Carolyn) Holloway of Flora; a sister: Jeannie (Greg) Orr of Frisco, TX, a grandson: Brantley Hewkin, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father and Patty Holloway.

Private services will be held for J.D. Holloway with interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Xenia.

Memorial donations may be made to Clay County Hospice.
