Gaston - Services for Barry Wayne Holloman, 59, of Gaston, will be held at 2pm Saturday in the Chapel of Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, officiated by Rev. Russell Painter, with burial at Gibson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Mr. Holloman died Wednesday, March 10, 2004. Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Allen Blease and Mildred Alice Davis Holloman. A lifetime area resident, Mr. Holloman was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Gaston. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Crystal Hope and Michael Dansby of Harlem, GA; son, Robert Thomas of Gaston; sister, Catherine Dawkins of Gaston; brother, Richard Holloman of West Columbia; and grandchild, Miranda Faith Farmer.
