"Mrs. Nellie Holliman Baker, 53, wife of J. O. Baker and native of Biloxi, died in the Orange Grove community this morning. She leaves her husband, a son, Richard Baker, and a brother, Reuben Holliman. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock under Methodist Church auspices and interment will be in the Biloxi cemetery."
