Mrs. Evaline Lee Garriott, 83, widow of Frank Garriott, died last evening at the family residence, 316 Riverside avenue, after an illness of several months. The daughter of Harvey and Mary gilmore Hollenback she was born on a farm in Madison County near Anderson and came to Muncie with her husband in 1909.
Mrs. Garriott was a member of Jackson Street Christian Church and the Bethany Class of that church.
Surviving are three daughters, Miss Evea, at home, Mrs. Lucile Arnold and Mrs. Loka Troxler, both of this city; a son, Floyd A. Garriott, Stockton, Cal.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Garriott died in 1930.
Services will be held at the Meeks Mortuary 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon with the Rev. E.F. Daugherty and the Rev. Robert G. Sulanke in charge. Burial will be in McCray Cemetery near Wilkinson. Friends may call at the mortuary after 3 o'clock Friday afternoon.
