She was born in Waverly, NY on June 30, 1947 to Henry C. Hollenbeck and the late Rachel Meddaugh Hollenbeck. She is survived by her husband, Gerald L. Comeau, Travares, FL; father, Henry C. (Madeline) Hollenbeck, FL; brother, Robert C. (Patricia) Hollenbeck, NJ; nephew, Robert C. (Monica) Hollenbeck Jr., NJ; niece, Wendy (Albert, Jr.) Mollo, NJ; nephews, Christopher Hollenbeck, Eric Hollenbeck of NJ; very special aunt and namesake, Catherine Meddaugh Deming, NY; her three precious kitties and her many cousins far and near whom she loved.
Catherine was an avid genealogist of the Hollenback, Jackson and Merrick families and as such, spent many fruitful hours researching her family history.
Memorial donations can be made in Catherine's honor to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Travares, FL 32778 or Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation, 12902 Magnolia Dr., Tampa, FL 33612.
Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, NY, in the spring.
