Verna E. Blair, 88, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late Harold W. Blair. Born in Schaefferstown, on March 2, 1923, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Shaad Hollenbach. She retired from the Lebanon Valley College where she had worked in housekeeping. She attended the Lebanon Gospel Center and was a member of the Jonestown Perseverence Fire Co. She is survived by her daughters, Marian E. Fake and her companion, Richard Frantz of Lebanon, Shirley A., wife of the late Charles Binner of Lebanon ,and Verna E., wife of Anthony DiScuillo of Lebanon; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her long-time companion, Herman Fortna. She was preceded in death by her son, Harold Blair, Jr.; daughters, Evelyn Blair and Brenda Mays, wife of Robert Mays of Mt. Zion; one brother; and five sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 19, 2011, at 11 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 and Camp Meeting Road, Jonestown. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Grand View Memorial Park, N. Annville Twp. Published in Lebanon Daily News on December 17, 2011
