Mrs. Sallie Belle Hollar, 70 years old, widow of William Hollar, died Saturday morning, October 5, 1935, at the home of her son, Jasper Hollar, in Nicholas County, Kentucky. She was born in that county, a daughter of the late Jasper and Emily Wagoner. She was a member of Barterville Methodist Church. The body was removed to the R. B. Whaley Funeral Home and later taken to the home of Ben Hollar, at Hooktown.

Besides her son, Mrs. Hollar is survived by: a brother, Harve Wagoner, of Nicholas County; two sisters, Mrs. Rachel Wagoner, of this county, and Mrs. Jane Mitcheltree, of Nicholas County.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at 11 o'clock at the grave in Barterville Cemetery, with Rev. Corbin Snapp officiating. Pallbearers were Joe Chipley, Omer Workman, Walter Bell, Willie Wagoner, James Henry Towles and Bud Towles.
